If your stay is less than a week please ask for a quote, our minimum stay is five
nights in peak season.
Gas and Electricity are included in the price.
There are bus stops opposite with regular buses providing local services.
Stirling has very good Bus and Train services to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth
and the Highlands.
In the immediate vicinity is a Lidl supermarket, a post office and 2 breakfast/lunch
bars. There are 2 restaurants within a 10 minute walk and in central Stirling you
have the choice of countless restaurants and Pub grub.
The house is fully equipped with Linen and Towels supplied. It has an Electric Hob
and Oven, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Dryer, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle,
Iron, Hair Dryer, and a flat screen TV in the Lounge.
Arrivals and Departures
Guests can arrive any time after 4pm, if you require an earlier check in time please
ask. We would like you to vacate the property by 10am on the morning of departure.

Directions from the M9 & M80 Motorways - Exit the motorway at Junction 9 (Stirling
Services). Take the A872 for nearly 2 miles, pass the Bannockburn Battlefield on
left, at the next roundabout take the first exit to the B8051. Pass the Shell service
station on left, take the next right turn before the traffic lights and the house
is facing you on the corner of Main Street and Kirk Wynd.
Touring from Stirling
Because of Stirlings central position at the Heart of Scotland it is an ideal place
to use as a base for touring. There is a folder in the house with maps showing several
driving routes that I would recommend for a days touring with information on places
of interest along the way. The surrounding countryside has charming towns and villages
with old historic Inns for lunch or dinner.
Golfing in and around Stirling
Scotland is the home of Golf and you do not need to travel far to find a golf course.
Stirling has two golf courses, an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course and there are
many more courses just a short drive from Stirling.
Stay here if you are visiting Stirling, the Cottage was ideal, very clean, the kitchen
was well stocked, two showers were appreciated for 5 of us. Convenient shopping and
parks within a block or two. A perk of renting was getting access to Derek, the owner,
he is an experienced tour guide and was happy to offer suggestions of routes for
day trips with the car, hikes, places to eat etc.
We cannot imagine there’s a better self catering choice in Stirling.

My family and I stayed in Dereks beautiful house in July. The house is well equipped
with everything you need for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. Derek is
a great host, all communication was clear and straightforward.
The house is in a great location, opposite a small supermarket and close to bus routes.
We did not use public transport as it is possible to walk in to Stirling in only
15 minutes. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for comfortable and convenient
accommodation in Stirling.

Our stay in your cottage in January 2015 was very pleasant. The house was extremely
comfortable and well equipped and the small supermarket across the road had everything
that we required.
We really enjoyed eating at the ‘Torbrex Inn’ which is only a short walk from the

We had a great week in Stirling exploring the local area. The cottage was lovely,
in a central location and we could walk into town or to the train station. We hired
a car and visited Edinburgh, St Andrews and Loch Lomond to mention a few. We would
definately recommend the Cottage and a visit to Stirling.

3 Bedroom Self Catering Holiday Accommodation in Stirling
The House is situated in the St Ninians area of Stirling, which is a very historic
town with a famous Castle and many nice restaurants and pubs. It is also very central
and is a great place to use as a base for touring with the Loch Lomond and Trossachs
National Park and the Highlands less than one hours drive. It also has none of the
traffic congestion of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The house is on two levels and is situated within the heritage area of the old St
Ninians Parish Church and has been completely upgraded in 2014. This includes a new
gas central heating system, new kitchen, new shower and toilet upstairs and the addition
of a shower and toilet downstairs. It has 3 bedrooms on the upper floor, one double,
one twin and one single, allowing 5 to sleep comfortably. It has been totally redecorated
with new carpets upstairs and laminated flooring downstairs.
There is no driveway, however there is free roadside parking by the house.
It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the centre of Stirling.
